Interstate Navigation Company (Block Island Ferry) is currently accepting applications for seasonal deckhands for the 2011 season. We have positions available on the passenger/vehicle ferries and the high-speed ferry. Seasonal positions generally are from mid-May through October, and potential summer employees need to be available for work through and during Labor Day weekend (Sept. 3-5, 2011). Applicants must be 18 years of age, and submit to pre-employment drug screening. Applicants must also be reliable, presentable and possess a good customer service attitude. Applications for future full time employment will also be accepted for the following positions:

• Mates (USCG License of 100 GT Inland Required)

• Engineers (unlicensed)

• Deckhands

Interstate Navigation Company operates ferry vessels between Point Judith and Block Island, R.I.
