DESCRIPTION:The Block Island Film Festival boasts notable actors\, directors\, screenwriters\, filmmakers\, student filmmakers and entertainment professionals\, on the beautiful resort destination known as Block Island\, located 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. A consortium of global industry professionals gather to mingle with contemporaries\, and the public\, in intimate settings\, such as film screenings\, spotlight programs\, tribute and award ceremonies\, question and answer forums\, and nightly social mixers. \nThere are 5 categories of the filmmaker competition at the Block Island Film Festival: student short films\, short films\, short documentaries\, feature films and feature screenplays. Forums will be hosted by award-winning actor/producers: Henry LeBlanc (American Horror Stories\, Perry Mason) & Kristin Carey (The Greatest Beer Run\, Hall Pass).Filmmaker Q&A panels begin immediately following each screening. \nThe BIFF 2024 schedule is subject to change \nSPECIAL TICKET PACKAGES can be requested/purchased prior to the film festival by using the contact form on their website.\nONE-DAY SINGLE PATRON PASS ($40) / TWO-DAY SINGLE PATRON PASS ($60) / THREE-DAY SINGLE PATRON PASS ($75) \nTICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR (BIMI) prior to a film screening.
